Internet-based Humidity Monitoring with the Tempurity™ SystemThe Tempurity monitoring system centralizes data collection from realtime scientific and environmental data sources anywhere on your network. The data from all "monitored devices" (scientific instruments and rooms) are collected through the network at regular intervals and stored on a central computer. If abnormal fluctuations occur, alarm notifications of e-mail, text message, or voice phone call can be sent to the appropriate personnel. The system sends voice phone calls from anywhere using a Voice-over-IP-like method of alarm notification. Humidity Monitoring that you've Never Seen BeforeThe system is designed to be highly redundant if needed so for critical data sources you can implement parallel or redundant monitoring. There are no dialers or special call hardware. Any computer loaded with the Tempurity sofware can make alarm notification calls or send emails. The system is comprised of three network-based components, the hardware (network hardware and sensors), the Tempurity Server, and the Tempurity Monitor. The Tempurity Server is like a web page, the Tempurity Monitor is like a browser. Any Tempurity Monitor can talk to any Tempurity Server anywhere.
