Using Tempurity to Monitor your Ultra Low Temperature FreezerThere's a new way to monitor the temperatures of your ultra low freezers! Do you spend time and money changing chart recorder wheels or pens? Do you use a manual, labor-intensive, pen and paper form of monitoring and regulatory compliance? Things can be different. The Tempurity System centralizes data collection and monitoring by using your existing network. Unlike any other monitoring system, temperatures can be collected directly from the serial ports of almost every brand of ultra-low temperature freezer. That means that the value stored in the Tempurity System is the same as the value shown on the front panel of your instrument. Data from freezers throughout your facility is collected and stored on a single computer. A single palm-sized Networked Robotics NTMS4 network device can collect temperatures from the serial ports of four very diverse sources simultaneously - for example a BaxterŽ ultra low, a Thermo RevcoŽ ultra low, a Thermo FormaŽ incubator, and a lower-end freezer (with no serial port) via a Networked Robotics TPL3U digital ultra low temperature probe.
With Tempurity, you can eliminate manual temperature recording procedures and cumbersome labor-intensive chart recorders. You will also rest easier knowing that the next time your freezer fails, or that someone leaves the door ajar, that you will be quickly notified via e-mail, text message, or voice phone call. The Tempurity System is self-installable using your existing network. If you don't have serial ports on your ultracolds, use Networked Robotics' advanced sensors. Know the complete environmental history of your cells or compounds.
